The strength of any maintenance programme rests on the quality, reliability and responsiveness of the engineers who carry it out. Our procurement model is designed to ensure that only the most competent and suitably qualified individuals deliver works under the Maintenance by Global banner.
We source skills from our network of Trusted Partners, selected on the basis of proven competence, proximity to the client’s premises and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Reducing travel is a key objective—not simply to save cost, but to minimise non-productive time and safeguard service reliability across geographically dispersed sites.
Where clients already have strong local engineering resources, these individuals can be registered directly onto the Log-Book Portal. Once approved, they are granted Depositor Status, enabling them to upload service reports and statutory compliance documentation in real time. Their permissions are aligned with their qualifications and trade accreditations.
Trusted Partners undergo enhanced verification, including:
- Inspection of tools, test instruments and calibration certificates.
- Verification of trade body memberships and insurance.
- Review of PPE provision and transport arrangements.
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, where required.
- Assessment of availability for reactive and 24/7 call-out services.
While paperwork remains one of the least appreciated aspects of engineering work, our digital workflow ensures that compliance documentation is completed accurately and efficiently before the engineer leaves site. This reduces errors, improves audit readiness and ensures complete traceability through the Log-Book Portal.
