Safety of pressure systems Aproved Code of Practice and guidance.
This publication formalises our business aims to align maintenance procedures and processes with this code of practice, concerning Minor systems as defined in paragraph 98a.

Written scheme of examination (regulation 8).

The asset register with the parts that make up the pressure system is compiled, including the digital capture of the manufacturer's data plate and the timing of visits. We also document the scope of work, which acts as an instruction for the inspection and testing work to be carried out on the protective devices. Finally, the Competent Person (CP) will upload the written scheme to the client portal to comply with paragraph 112 which deals with the storage of work reports. Our portal meets the requirements of paragraph 112 as it can reproduce the scheme readily as a written copy, be authenticated by the CP and be protected from unauthorised alteration.

Planned visits and Recordkeeping (paragraph 86 & 137).

During the course of the work, the CP's will update your Log-Book Portal with an individual report for each asset examined or tested they will ensure that the safe operating limits specified for a system are up to date and any adjustments Documented.

Periodic Reviews.

Periodic reviews are carried out as standard annually; however, CP's may determine that an additional inspection is required. Additionally, if it is determined that the period between each examination should be altered, this would necessitate a written scheme revision.
